Bumper Repair in Miami,
Restored, Not Replaced.
A scraped corner, a cracked cover, or a parking lot ding doesn't always mean a new bumper. Our Bird Road shop repairs and refinishes the one you have whenever we can. Free estimates, no pressure.
Bumper Repair,
Not An Automatic Replacement.
A bumper is designed to take the brunt of a low speed impact, which is exactly why it usually shows the damage first: a scraped corner from a tight parking lot, a cracked cover from a curb tap, or a scuffed grille surround from a fender bender. Plenty of shops treat every bumper claim as a straight swap for a new part. We restore and refinish the cover you already have whenever the plastic is not torn and the impact structure behind it is sound.
That starts with pulling the bumper cover off the car so we can see what is actually happening behind the plastic, not just the visible crack or scuff. Mounting tabs, the impact absorber, and the brackets that hold everything in place all get checked, since damage back there changes whether repair or replacement is the right call.
Where the plastic can be saved, cracks get repaired and reinforced from behind before any color goes on. Refinishing uses the Spies Hecker paint line with color matching technology, blended into the fenders and quarter panels on either side so the repaired bumper does not read differently from the rest of the vehicle. That finish work is BMW and Mercedes approved, and every paint job we complete carries a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car.
When the cover is torn, the tabs are broken, or the structure behind it took real damage, we will tell you replacement is the better route rather than force a repair onto a part that will not hold up. Either way, we work directly with all insurance companies and handle the claim paperwork, towing and pickup and delivery are available anywhere in Miami-Dade County, and every estimate is free with no obligation.

Bumper damage often reaches the panels beside it. If the impact carried into the quarter panel or fender, see Fender Repair for how we handle that side of the job. A dent in the bumper cover itself that stayed shallow enough gets covered on our Dent Repair page. And when the hit was hard enough to affect the frame behind the bumper, our Collision Repair service covers the structural work.
Bumper Repair,
Answered.
Straight answers about repairing versus replacing a bumper.
Does a cracked bumper always need to be replaced?
No. If the plastic is not torn and the impact structure behind it is not compromised, we can usually repair and refinish the existing bumper cover rather than replace it. Replacement makes sense when the cover is torn, the mounting tabs are broken, or the structure behind it is damaged.
Will the repaired bumper match the rest of my car's paint?
Yes. We use the Spies Hecker paint line with color matching technology and blend the refinished bumper into the adjoining fenders and quarter panels so the repair does not stand out.
Is bumper refinishing covered under warranty?
Yes. Every paint job we complete, including a refinished bumper cover, carries a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle.
